Whether it’s summer trails or winter slopes, a great day in Bozeman starts with coffee, ends with chocolate, and always has mountains in the middle. This bar has the first and last parts covered... the rest of the day's adventure is up to you.

We begin with our Classic Dark 72% chocolate, and then we bring in coffee from our friends at Treeline Coffee Roasters.

On the palate, this chocolate starts with cocoa’s richness before opening into coffee’s aromatic spark. You’ll taste berry and caramel rounded by chocolate’s roasty backbone. A dash of fresh-ground coffee adds a gentle crunch that melts away into a smooth, layered finish. 

Back when Caldera was still a home-kitchen project, the Treeline crew were already our foodie heroes. Natalie even rolled her old roaster, Fran, out of retirement on a bluebird spring day so we could learn how to adapt coffee equipment for cacao beans — including Googling “what temperature is cacao done at?” because our first roaster didn’t have a thermometer that could measure bean temp. Treeline roasts with the same obsession we have for cacao: light, lively, and origin-forward. 

Coffee and chocolate were always destined for each other — this bar is their happily ever after.
