The Oranges

Ingredients: Organic oranges, organic cacao, organic cane sugar

"The Oranges" are a small-batch (or maybe micro-batch is the more accurate term) seasonal treat of zesty citrus, candied by hand and dipped in our signature dark chocolate.

First, we candy a blend of ripe oranges to draw out their sweetness – slow simmering transforms each slice into tender, jewel-toned fruit with a satisfying chew and concentrated flavor. Once the oranges reach that perfect balance of zing and sweetness, we dip them in bold dark chocolate for a festive, one-of-a-kind treat.
 
This year, our house-blend 72% dark chocolate is made from two standout origins from the Spring 2025 harvest: 

• Öko Caribe in the The Dominican Republic
• Maya Mountain in Belize

We lightly-roasted these beans and carefully removed their shells, then stone ground the nibs for three full days before adding organic cane sugar. After one more day of refining, the chocolate was ready for the oranges.

The result is bright, candied citrus with a rich cacao glow-up. These are great for sharing around the table with friends, wine, and good conversation — or maybe alongside a lively game of rummy, cribbage, or pinochle after dinner!

Three of our favorite foods, all grown organically under bright sunshine. It's how farmers want to grow cacao, oranges, and sugar cane – and it's how we like to enjoy them most. The Oranges remind us that beauty can be found in removing everything that isn't absolutely necessary. And then letting trees do the work.

Each bag holds at least 140 grams (4.9 ounces) of chocolate-dipped candied oranges. By weight, it’s roughly half fruit and half chocolate.
