The Chocolate Club is a monthly delivery of handcrafted dark chocolate made in Bozeman, Montana. Each box includes three bars — two beloved favorites and one limited-release chocolate created exclusively for Club members — along with a maker’s note and an original poem by Lauren, printed on heavyweight art card with a photo from Logan.

Each month's bars reflect what we are most excited about at the moment, ranging from single-origin bars that highlight exceptional harvests to adventurous chocolates layered with seasonal inclusions. All recipes are dairy free, gluten free, and made without tree nuts or vegetable oils — just cacao, organic cane sugar, and the inspirations of the season.

There are two ways to join the Chocolate Club.

Standard Membership
The standard membership is an ongoing monthly option priced at $34 per month, plus shipping. Boxes may be picked up at our Bozeman chocolate factory at no cost, shipped for $5 per month within Montana, or shipped for $9 anywhere in the United States.

Three-Month Gift Membership
The three-month membership is a prepaid option priced at $102, with shipping included. It includes 3 monthly deliveries and ends automatically after the 3rd shipment. This option is designed for gifting and you can write your special person a gift note at checkout that we will include in their first shipment!

Club boxes ship around the 20th of each month, and you will receive a tracking link by email as soon as each shipment is on its way.

When a Club membership begins, the first shipment is always the box for the month in which the order is placed. For example, if you place your order on the 5th of the month your chocolate will ship out on the 20th with the rest of the Club boxes for that month. If an order is placed after the 20th, the current month’s box ships shortly after the order is placed (while supplies last). If you join the club after the 20th and we run out of that month's chocolate, we will make sure you are taken care of.

Yes. Memberships always begin with the current month’s box, even if you join after the 20th. If we run out of that month's box we will reach out, let you know, and make sure you are taken care of.

For the standard monthly membership, your card is charged when you sign up and then on the 10th of each month going forward. You will receive an email reminder on the 7th of the month before each renewal.

For the three-month gift membership, the full amount is charged at checkout. There are no additional charges, and the membership ends automatically after the third shipment.

Yes. Standard monthly memberships can be canceled at any time through the website or by replying to an email — no questions asked.

The three-month gift membership is prepaid. The prepaid option does not automatically renew so there is nothing to cancel.

Yes! The three-month gift membership is designed specifically for gifting, but either option can be sent to another address.

If you need to update a shipping address, add a gift note, or make a small change after placing your order, just reply to any Club email and we will help take care of it.

If you’ve opened a Chocolate Club box before, you’ve probably noticed the poem tucked inside. Each one is an original work of poetry born from the shifting seasons and the small reflections that tend to arrive alongside them. It’s a small creative ritual that has accompanied our chocolate since the very beginning – back when we were making chocolate in our home kitchen and driving around town to drop it off on doorsteps. The poems were part of those very first deliveries.

Starting with the 2025-26 Chocolate Club season, the poems are now signed under the pen name Asher Kenning, as the writer begins pursuing a larger body of creative writing, including fiction. Readers who have been part of the Chocolate Club for a long time will probably recognize the voice. The poems have always come from us – these days, they just travel under a different name. You can also find more of Asher’s writing on Substack.

Yes! Standard monthly members may choose to pick up their box at our Bozeman chocolate factory at no cost. You will receive an email when your box is ready.

The three-month gift membership is shipped and does not include a pickup option.

No. The Chocolate Club is seasonal and runs through the cooler months, typically from October through May.

Since chocolate begins to melt around 75 degrees, shipping during warmer months can be unpredictable. To reduce waste, we do not include cooling packs, and the Club wraps up before summer heat arrives.

We do our best to time shipments when the weather cooperates, but if you live in a warmer climate, we cannot guarantee melt-free delivery because we don't use refrigerated packages (due to the waste).

If chocolate softens in transit, it is still safe to enjoy. Let it re-set at room temperature, or melt it down and drizzle it over vanilla ice cream for a simple treat.
