When you sign up for our Winter Chocolate Subscription, you’ll receive fresh dark chocolate delivered to your door each month from February through May! This subscription is perfect for dark chocolate lovers who enjoy a fun, flavorful surprise and want to learn more about the people and places that grow specialty cacao.

Each Monthly Box Includes:

  • Three 40-gram boxes of rough-cut dark chocolate
    • Two classic favorites
    • One new flavor created just for our subscribers
  • A Maker's Note with stories about the cacao and ingredients
  • A poem printed on plantable seed paper (for planting in the Spring!)

Ingredients to expect

We craft our dark chocolate with just two ingredients: specialty cacao and organic cane sugar. Your box will feature a mix of:

  • Single-origin dark chocolates (just cacao and sugar)
  • Dark chocolates with fun inclusions (think things like cardamom or coffee)
  • We don't use any dairy, gluten, nuts, or vegetable oils in our chocolate

Cost

This chocolate subscription is $25 per month. You can either pick it up at our Bozeman factory (free!), or pay a little extra to have it delivered to your door each month:

  • Shipping is $5 per month for Bozeman and Montana addresses
  • Shipping is $9 per month for U.S. addresses outside Montana
  • All shipping is delivered via USPS

This subscription is open to anyone in the United States, making it a great gift for friends and family!

How it Works

  • You will make your first payment on the day you sign-up. After that, you will be charged on the 10th of each month.
  • Your chocolate ships on the 15th of each month via USPS (tracking will be provided email).
  • If you sign-up after the 15th of a given month, we will send you that month’s chocolate box right away (while supplies last) and then send you the next month's box on the 15th.
  • Cancel anytime through our site or by emailing us—no questions asked.

Warm-weather "fine print"

  • This subscription for anyone in the US, but chocolate starts to melt around 75°F.
  • To reduce packaging waste and costs, we don’t use cooling packs. That’s why the subscription ends in May, before the summer heat arrives!
  • If your chocolate melts during transit,  the best move is to melt it down and put it on ice cream!

Simple Ingredients

We make dark chocolate from just two ingredients: specialty cacao and organic cane sugar.

Transparent Trade

To us, "transparent trade" means knowing the people in our cacao supply chain and making sure those folks get fairly compensated for their time, energy, and expertise.

Sustainable Packaging

We are plastic-free and work hard to create nice packaging that is also recyclable or compostable. The clear bag inside of our chocolate boxes is made of cellulose so it is curbside compostable!

Made Fresh in Bozeman

We buy specialty cacao grown on farms in Central and South America, then make dark chocolate at our little factory in Bozeman!
